`Earthrise’ to be performed at the CBDNA Southern Division

Nigel will attend a performance of `Earthrise’ at the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Southern Division Conference in Jacksonville Florida, USA. Nigel will have the opportunity to work with Director of Bands’ Gordon Brock and the students of University of North Florida Wind Symphony during his weeks stay in Jacksonville. It is most fitting that `Earthrise’ should be performed here of all places, only a few miles away from the Kennedy Space Centre at Cape Canaveral where Apollo 8 the subject of Nigel’s piece started it’s epic journey to circumnavigate the moon in 1968.
