Congratulations to Conductor Dwayne Bloomfield and Ascot Park Hotel Band

A big congratulations to conductor/composer Dwayne Bloomfield and Ascot Park Hotel Band for their masterful and atmospheric performance of my `Earthrise’ at the 2013 New Zealand National Brass Band Championships in New Plymouth. This was a performance of shear energy, contrasted with sensitive beauty!! Well done to all the band’s soloists. Heading the team of adjudicators was the internationally renown composer Stephen Bulla. I had the privileged to listen to the band in rehearsal during the week on Skype and to the live streaming early this morning.
