`Battle & Chants’ in Belgium

Congratulations (!!) to Clarinettist Stefan Bocken for his stunning performance of my clarinet concerto `Battles & Chants’ with the Hamonie St Cecilia, Rotem under the direction of Jos Simons at the LUCA School of Arts, Campus Lemmens. Stefan also performed the Mozart and Nielsen Clarinet Concertos in the same programme as well as Michael Daugherty’s `Brooklyn Bridge’ – all part of Stefan’s MMus final exam. This whole concert-event was a tour de force, a totally brilliant display of musicianship combined with mastery of the instrument!! Thanks to all for this musical experience.
