Over 2025 Nigel Clarke is writing a number of short solo violin pieces for Peter Sheppard Skaerved called Bruegel’s Brush. The work will focus on Brueghel paintings held at Les Musées Royaux des Beaux-Arts de Belgique in Brussels. The museum in Brussels holds the second largest collection of Brueghel paintings in the world. Bruegel’s Brush will initially focus on the works of Pieter Bruegel the Elder and his son Pieter Brueghel the Younger.
